All ACH and Wire clients use the VIP Access Token on a computer or mobile device to approve ACH and Wire Payments.


If you are a user that approves ACH or Wire payments, a token must first be connected to your profile before it can be used to approve payments. VIP Tokens are also device-specific. If you replace a computer or mobile device previously used for the Token, you must update the Credential ID before using the new device for approvals.



Instructions to setup VIP Access Tokens



Step 1: Login to Business Banking and click My Settings at the top right corner


Step 2: Scroll to Security Options and click Edit


Step 3: Download the VIP Token to your computer OR your mobile device

  • To download to your computer
    • Click How do I get a VIP AccessTM token? to go to Symantec’s website
    • At the Symantec website, click Download then choose your operating system
    • Follow the download instructions on your screen to complete the process
    • Open the VIP Token app downloaded to your computer by using the shortcut installed on your computer’s desktop
  • To download to your mobile device
    • Open your device application store (App Store or Google Play)
    • Search for “VIP Access”
    • Download the app (iPhone version shown below)


Step 4: Open the Symantec app and locate the unique Credential ID for your token

Step 5: Back in Business Banking, link your Token's Credential ID to your login

  • Type your Credential ID into the white square in the Token section (shown below)
  • Scroll down, input your current login password, and click Save



Step 6: Your Token can now be used for approvals!
